We’re hiring a Resource Planner - Ground Operations to join our Resource Planning Team.

Reporting to the Resource Planning Supervisor - Ground Operations, the Resource Planner - Ground Operations will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed resource requirement plans for all Jet2.com Ground Operations colleagues. This role is vital in ensuring the ongoing availability of Ground Operations colleagues across our bases to meet our flying programme throughout the year.

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing resource requirement plans and availability forecasts for all Ground Operations colleagues.
• Working closely with the Crew Training and Rostering Team to manage resource availability and with Operations Teams regarding operational contribution levels.
• Identifying staffing shortfalls and optimal training periods, advising relevant parties.
• Evaluating ongoing crew training needs and scheduling efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Providing insights into annual requirements and scheduling new joiners with the Recruitment Team.

What you’ll have:

• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with analytical and forward-thinking problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
• Resource planning experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
