Base Location: Aberdeen, Perth, Glasgow, Portsmouth or Reading

Salary: £42,600 - £64,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

We're looking for a Resource Planner to play a key role in managing and optimising our resource scheduling. Using approved systems, you'll prioritise and coordinate plans, monitor schedule adherence, and generate reports that support both plant and non-plant operations.

You will

  • Develop and maintain staffing and resource plans that support timely, cost-effective project execution.
  • Implement and support resource planning processes, ensuring effective management across all project phases.
  • Provide insightful resource reporting by analysing project data, enabling Project Managers to optimise schedules and budgets.
  • Forecast workloads and monitor resource availability, proactively planning to meet future demands.
  • Support strategic resource planning through data-driven analysis and the maintenance of long-term planning frameworks.

You have

  • Proven experience in establishing and implementing planning approaches on complex, large-scale infrastructure programmes, particularly within regulatory environments.
  • A strong background in managing critical interfaces and dependencies across complex programmes.
  • Experience working within a rigorous programme controls environment.
  • Experience in using Primavera P6 for scheduling and managing delivery of large-scale, complex projects.
