Job description

We’re looking for someone who can lead the charge in resource management for a high-impact organisation operating at the heart of UK infrastructure. You’ll act as a trusted advisor—translating demand into action, balancing capacity with ambition, and helping shape the future of a complex, evolving portfolio.

This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be front and centre—chairing forums, influencing decisions, and representing the organisation on all things resourcing. You’ll lead initiatives that matter: from career pathways to graduate schemes, from succession planning to redeployment strategies that retain critical knowledge.

You’ll own the end-to-end resourcing process. That means new starters, movers, leavers—and everything in between. You’ll analyse data, spot trends, and drive continuous improvement across performance metrics. You’ll be the go-to for demanders, helping refine requests, resolve blockers, and optimise deployment.

The hours are negotiable and can work around you.

We’re looking for someone who’s:
  • Degree qualified
  • Organised, resilient, and solutions-focused
  • A natural communicator who builds trust and challenges constructively
  • Comfortable with complexity and confident in ambiguity
  • Passionate about safety, innovation, and continuous improvement

You’ll bring ideas. You’ll bring energy. You’ll bring clarity.

In return, you’ll get the chance to shape how resource management works across a major organisation. You’ll influence systems, tools, and processes. You’ll help build a model that’s agile, responsive, and future-ready.

If you’re ready to lead, ready to collaborate, and ready to make resource management a strategic advantage—this position is for you.
