Position Overview

As a Resource Manager based at our London headquarters in Farringdon, reporting to the Managing Director, you will optimize consultant utilization, ensuring efficient resource allocation and swift project staffing. Your role is vital in maintaining low bench levels by tracking project opportunities, anticipating consultant availability, and aligning resources with project needs, directly impacting our bottom line and the career development of our consultants. You will balance rapid project deployment with respecting consultants' career aspirations and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure optimal utilization of our consultants, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  2. Identify and allocate resources swiftly to projects, ensuring the right skills are matched within budget.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of our consultants' skills, career goals, and preferences to align them with suitable projects.
  4. Support the presentation of our consultants' skills and unique value both internally and externally.
  5. Monitor and manage the recruitment pipeline to meet the evolving project needs.
  6. Stay informed about upcoming project opportunities and track their progress to anticipate resource requirements.
  7. Conduct analyses of project completions to better understand and forecast consultant availability.
  8. Create an environment that aligns consultant availability with project demands, considering skills and costs.
  9. Collaborate with senior managers, sales, bid teams, competence center managers, and recruitment to understand project demands and resource needs.
Requirements

  • Proactive follow-up skills regarding project opportunities and resource assignments.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITES skills, services, and industry offerings.
  • Experience collaborating with senior management and decision-makers.
