In support of our continued UK growth, we are currently seeking a Resource Manager to join our Project Management Office. The successful candidate will lead our resourcing and scheduling function, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources to drive successful customer outcomes. Additionally, the Resource Manager will perform scrum duties, leading agile ceremonies for our Automation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three years of experience in project planning, resource management, or as a scrum master – ideally within networking, automation, or cyber-security. The role also offers scope to support project coordination on larger-scale projects.
Your role as Resource Manager
Reporting to the Projects Director, you will be responsible for assigning resources to projects on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all team members are fully utilised. With full visibility of projects and activities, you will be able to quickly reallocate resources as priorities shift or projects are paused. You will lead daily stand-ups with the automation team to maintain alignment on tasks and priorities, and facilitate fortnightly sprint planning sessions as well as sprint reviews and retrospectives. In addition, you will provide the PMO with regular reporting and forecasting data, including project status updates, resource utilisation, forecast vs actuals, and other key resourcing metrics.
The ideal candidate will be a flexible, results-driven, and detail-orientated professional with great communication skills and previous experience in a similar role, ready to take on their next challenge.
