Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Planner to join a great manufacturing facility in East Yorkshire. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and an early finish on a Friday.

Responsibilities
  • The coordination, planning, and management of labour, plant, and operational support activities
  • Source all site labour and management resources in line with PDOC budgets
  • Raise Purchase Orders (POs) for all site labour and management requirements
  • Oversee daily workload management of the Operations Support function
  • Plan and forecast site plant requirements, monitoring associated costs
  • Manage the weekly IOH process and produce ad hoc operational reports as required by the Head of Operations
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will ideally have relevant experience of working in a similar role, ideally from within the construction or manufacturing sector. Proven experience in an operational support, plant coordination or planning role would be beneficial. A strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting and procurement processes would also be an advantage. You should also have experience with planning software, preferably MS Projects and MS Excel.
