The role of a Resource Consultant is heavily telephone and database-driven. It involves researching companies and sourcing candidates for specific roles, including market mapping, generating vacancy leads, headhunting, promoting job opportunities, and building relationships while striving towards targets.

Typical daily duties include:

• Source and select candidates via the Internet and telephone
• Head hunt and approach candidates directly for recruiting requirements
• Post adverts on company websites and job portals
• Network with industry contacts to source candidates
• Identify skills needed to match candidates to vacancies
• Find vacancy leads through social media, competitor awareness, and networking
• Profile and interview candidates
• Book candidates for interviews with Consultants and Clients
• Handle queries related to contracts, pay, and logistics
• Maintain and update the database
• Perform administrative duties like preparing interview letters and formatting CVs

Although primarily office-based, the role may require attending client meetings and conferences within the UK, Europe, and overseas.

You will liaise with professionals to gather information and make the best matches for our clients and candidates.
