Job Title: Resource Base Teacher, Monday-Friday

Location: Melksham

Salary: Up to 210 per day

Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Resource Base Teacher to work full-time in a school within Melksham starting in January on a long-term assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and track pupil progress through observations, records, and reports
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support children's learning journeys
  • Support social, emotional, and physical development by fostering positive relationships
  • Incorporate creative activities such as art, music, and role play
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching
  • Encourage literacy and numeracy skills through age-appropriate activities
  • Promote independence and resilience in young learners
Requirements:
  • You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
  • A valid right to work in the UK
  • Be flexible and ready to work!
