Job summary

Luxury Lodges is seeking a Restaurant & Bar Manager for their small resort in the United Kingdom. The role involves managing both bar and restaurant service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding high standards of guest care.

You will oversee orders, beverage service, cash handling, stock checks and collaborative operations with kitchen and housekeeping teams, with a focus on flexible hours and a 40-hour full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, bar or restaurant roles.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Set up and clear tables before, during and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar, restaurant and service areas.
• Handle cash, card payments and other transactions accurately.
• Restock drinks, food items, glassware and other supplies.
• Follow food safety, licensing, health and safety procedures.
• Deal with guest requests, questions and complaints politely and professionally.
• Work closely with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth resort operations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Help with basic cleaning and general duties when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a friendly attitude at all times.
• Promote a relaxed, enjoyable holiday experience for guests.
