Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our welcoming Surrey-based primary school as a Year 6 Teacher with Middle Leadership responsibilities, starting in September 2025.

Position: Year 6 Teacher & Middle Leader
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

This role offers the opportunity to not only teach and inspire Year 6 pupils, preparing them for their transition to secondary school, but also to take on Middle Leadership responsibilities, shaping an area of school development and supporting colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support and prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and their transition to secondary school
  • Lead and develop a specific area of the curriculum or school improvement initiative
  • Provide support, mentoring, and guidance to colleagues as part of the Middle Leadership team
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and school leadership to drive progress and achievement
  • Contribute to whole-school development and improvement strategies
Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for high-quality teaching
Proven leadership experience or the ambition to take on Middle Leadership responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire both pupils and colleagues
A commitment to professional growth and making a lasting impact on children’s education
