Overview

We are looking for a Resilience Technical Leader to join our Team.

The Role : As the Technical Lead in Resilience at Airbus Protect, you are part of the Technical Office team of our Cybersecurity Consulting business unit. You’ll play a central role regarding the evolution and delivery of our Resilience consulting services, encompassing business continuity, crisis management, incident management, crisis communication, incident and crisis exercises, and disaster recovery services. Guiding and coordinating a team of resilience consultants and technical advisors, you are the technical authority of Airbus Protect in the area of resilience and are involved in all strategic aspects of developing our business when related to your domain of expertise.

Your task will include but may not be limited to:

  • Team and Community Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of resilience consultants and technical advisors while animating the internal CoC Resilience community to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Resilience Strategy and Technical Authority: Serve as the technical authority for resilience, leading the strategy for our Business Continuity and Crisis Management portfolio while developing and executing comprehensive resilience strategies for our clients.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader for Risk to integrate risk analysis output and threat intelligence into resilience anticipation and with Managed Services to align on incident response processes and escalation triggers.

  • Business Growth and Engagement: Provide technical expertise to support sales and business development activities, while actively engaging with external security communities to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and enhance our market presence.

  • Capability Development: Support the evolution of learning and career paths for resilience competencies, ensuring the team's skills remain at the forefront of the industry.

  • Innovation and R&T: Establish technical monitoring of the Resilience landscape and prioritize Research & Technology (R&T) activities to drive innovation within our resilience service offerings.

  • Service Portfolio Enhancement: Support the definition and development of new resilience services, translating R&T outcomes and market intelligence into tangible client value.

  • Methodology and Tooling: Oversee the development and provision of tools, templates, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and quality of consulting delivery.

  • Strategic Communication: Facilitate effective communication, ensuring that the team, internal stakeholders, and clients are well-informed about security initiatives, project progress, and developments.

This position requires a security clearance or requires eligibility for clearance by recognised authorities.

Are you the one ?

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science or engineering.

  • Proven experience in previous leadership or supervisory roles, demonstrating your ability to guide and mentor a team in areas such as business continuity, crisis management, incident management, and disaster recovery.

  • Expertise and demonstrated experience in key resilience approaches and measures, such as business continuity planning, crisis management, incident response, and disaster recovery.

  • Familiarity with relevant resilience standards and frameworks, such as ISO 22301, ISO 22361, ISO 22320, ISO/IEC 27031, NIST SP 800-34, BSI Standard 100-4, or similar, and the ability to ensure compliance within the organization.

  • Capable of developing and maintaining resilience policies and procedures to ensure the continuity and recovery of an organization's critical operations.

  • Excellent command of the English language; Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of resilience methodologies and tools, including business continuity planning software, crisis management platforms, and incident response frameworks.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and collaborate with a team of resilience professionals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey resilience concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive attitude towards staying updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices to keep the organization resilient against evolving threats.

  • Industry certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, CRISC, or similar are a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional development and expertise in resilience management.

  • A security clearance is required for this activity or must be issued by the responsible authorities.
