Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our Resilience team here in Liverpool. It is an exciting time to join our Governance, Risk & Compliance department as it has grown considerably over the past five years and plays an increasingly more important role in the decision-making process across the business. You’ll be part of a highly motivated and innovative team that helps reduce and redirect potential financial, client and marketplace, service delivery, people and compliance impacts.
The Resilience Graduate will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), coordinating emergency response arrangements, and contributing to the wider organisational resilience agenda. This is a hands-on role suitable for a highly motivated individual looking to build a career in resilience, risk, and business continuity. You will gain experience across multiple business areas, supporting exercises, training, and business impact assessments in a global, fast-moving organisation.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) across departments.
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of Incident Management, Business Continuity, and Emergency Response Plans.
- Help plan, organise, and deliver training and exercise sessions.
- Contribute to the facilitation and continuous improvement of the Emergency Response and Recovery Programme.
- Capture learnings from incidents and exercises to enhance resilience practices across the organisation.
- Liaise with teams across the business to promote a strong culture of resilience and preparedness.
- Assist in documenting and tracking resilience actions and audit requirements.
- Provide input into risk registers and support cross-functional risk management initiatives.
- Support additional GRC-related activities such as Travel Risk Management, Lessons Management, and Climate Resilience.
Required Qualifications
- 2:1 degree in any subject.
Required Languages
- English (essential).
- Other languages are advantageous (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, French).
Travel Requirements
- Travel as required both domestically and internationally. Some travel may be required to support business continuity and emergency planning across other AHK locations.
- Must have a valid passport and the ability to obtain visas as necessary.
