Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is recruiting for an LRF Support Officer to assist the LRF Manager in coordinating multi-agency responses for the Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum. The role is hybrid with three days in Exeter each week.

The successful candidate will support resilience planning, provide guidance to partner organisations, manage training schedules and contribute to incident response activities in line with BPSS security requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
• Ability to interact and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels including Government.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presentations and reports.
• Ability to teach complex processes to individuals or groups.

Responsibilities

• Support the LRF Manager in coordinating work for 60+ organisations within Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum.
• Provide advisory support to the Police on contingency and emergency planning issues.
• Assist maintenance of the LRF Business Plan and Work Programme tracking risks and mitigation.
• Coordinate multi-agency working groups and horizon-scan risks affecting the LRF area.
• Act as a point of contact for regional, national teams and the public.
• Assist with training delivery and scheduling of LRF courses.
