Job summary

Severn Trent Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Continuity Specialist on a 12 month FTC to strengthen resilience and protect essential services. You will join the Resilience team to develop and improve our BCMS and respond to disruption.

The role requires leading assessments, training, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation, with standby rota duties outside core hours. Coventry-based, full-time position with attractive rewards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in business continuity, resilience, emergency planning, and/or risk management.
• Excellent understanding of BC principles, frameworks, and best practice.
• Experience developing and delivering continuity exercises and training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain our ISO 22301-aligned BCMS.
• Lead business impact analyses, risk reviews, exercises, and testing.
• Develop and enhance continuity, crisis management, and incident response plans.
