Job Role: ResidentialYouth Support Worker

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Long days and sleep-ins on a rotational schedule

Location:Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £26,749.00 - £27,747.00 per annum (base salary). With an earning potential of £29,066.12 - £30,064.12 (inclusive of on average 1 sleep in per week & your attendance allowance of £1,400 per annum).

Homes2Inspire is looking for a Residential Youth Support Worker to join the team at an established residential home in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a young person, guiding them towards a brighter future while upholding the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will work closely with a young man to support his emotional behaviours, time-management, and day-to-day mental health. Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing is preferred but not required.

We're seeking a motivated and resilient individual with a strong work ethic and a methodical approach to challenges. This young person brings a vibrant sense of humour and a large personality, thriving on connection and demonstrating a natural ability to manage emotions and control behaviours. He needs support with time management for school and finding his motivation and enjoys gaming in his free time. We're looking for a dedicated male staff member who can connect with and positively influence this young person.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work towards a QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep in duties + overtime
  • Full UK driving licence
