Job summary

Bedspace is seeking a Residential Support Worker in the Warrington area to empower young people toward independence by building practical life skills, confidence, and resilience.

You will guide young people through ASDAN modules on finance, tenancy, personal development, health and wellbeing, healthy eating, relationships, and culture. Driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people who have complex needs in a social care setting.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to young people, helping them develop essential life skills.
• Assist with educational, health, and welfare needs, ensuring access to resources.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of service users’ progress.
• Help young people manage daily tasks and appointments.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive environment through regular communication and monitoring.
