Team Leader Children s Residential Care

Location: WS10 8LE
Full-Time Brand-New Dual Registered Solo Homes

Be part of something from the start.
We re excited to be recruiting 2 experienced and passionate Team Leaders for two brand-new solo children s residential homes in Walsall. These homes are not open yet but we already have the wider team in place and just need the right leaders to complete it.

Each home will be dual registered and run side by side under an experienced Registered Manager, with a Deputy Manager in place. You ll be helping to lead the home from day one, shaping practice, building a strong culture, and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for the young people we support.

About the Role

  • 15-hour shifts on a 1-on / 2-off rolling monthly rota

  • Supporting daily operations of the home

  • Providing direct support and leadership to care staff

  • Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and behaviour support

  • Acting as a positive role model to both staff and young people

  • Working closely with management to drive excellence and compliance

About You

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential
  • Strong experience in children s residential settings
  • Confident, resilient, and passionate about making a difference
  • Able to lead shifts and mentor junior staff effectively
