About the Role

TeacherActive is partnering with a Residential childcare setting in Telford to recruit a Residential Team Leader. This role involves leading a residential team in a supportive environment that promotes resilience, self-esteem, and independence among young people.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home.
  2. Work with young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  3. Implement therapeutic models, preferably within a PACE framework.
  4. Support young people's development towards successful independence.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience working within therapeutic models and with young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar setting.
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in children and young people's workforce.
  • Empathy, resilience, and ability to handle challenging behaviours.
