We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers, and find a place where they belong.

What this job involves:

Our school leaver programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. You’ll join us on a 5-year trainee programme, working towards completing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management and Residential / General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Anyone without a degree can join this programme, as we’re focused on training you to become a qualified and well-rounded professional. You’ll rotate around the business with a focus on residential properties, ranging from affordable housing to prime real estate.

What your day-to-day will look like:

You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in, but below are some of what you’ll experience:

  • You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work.
  • You’ll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determine the best solution for clients.
  • You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service.
  • You’ll work with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work, such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports.
  • You’ll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings.
  • You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth.

What you’ll get from us:

We know that your unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives help us think bigger, spark innovation, and succeed together. At JLL, we want everyone to feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

  • Support from us – The Early Careers team will be with you every step of the way during your programme. Your manager and team will also be there to guide you day-to-day.
  • Support from your buddy – You’ll be paired with a peer on a similar pathway to you who will be there to answer any questions and guide you.
  • Support from your training provider – They will be teaching the theory behind your role and guiding you to achieving your qualification.
  • Training opportunities for everyone – No matter your experience or role, both our Early Careers and Learning teams will provide you with lots of ways to improve and develop your skills.
  • Surveying qualification support – You’ll take part in various workshops to build your knowledge and skills for your Chartership assessment.
  • Off-the-job training – As an apprentice, you will receive time to study with your training provider.
  • Competitive salary – We are committed to paying you a wage that is fair and competitive to the industry we work in.
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays each year – We encourage you to take breaks from work and hope you use this time to recharge regularly throughout the year.
  • 2 paid volunteer days each year – We feel it’s essential to give back to the communities around us.
  • Wide range of employee benefits – You can take advantage of them, which include a well-being support and resources, exclusive discounts, pension, private medical healthcare, dental insurance, employee assistance programme, season ticket loan, cycle-to-work scheme, mortgage advice, and more.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • GCSEs – C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • A-Levels – 72 UCAS points, equivalent of 3 x D grades
  • You’ll have a curious mindset so you can learn and grow with us.
  • You’ll be passionate and eager to contribute your thoughts, create fresh ideas, and challenge yourself to do more than you think you could.
  • You’ll have an interest in the property industry and how we can shape its future.
  • You’ll be able to connect with others easily and build strong relationships.

Right to work in the UK:

  • You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours.

Estimated compensation for this position is: £25,207
