Job summary

An established industry player is seeking compassionate Night Shift Staff to support young females with emotional and behavioral needs. The role requires dedicated individuals who are confident in managing challenging situations and possess essential training in safeguarding, first aid, and medication management. As a Night Shift Staff member, you will work from 22:00 to 08:00, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the residents. Qualifications

Job description

Job Requirements for Night Shift Staff

There are 2 homes based in IP7. Due to limited or no public transport, staff members need to be drivers or arrange transportation for night shifts.

The following requirements are mandatory for staff selection:

  1. Must be female, aged over 21 (ideally over 25).
  2. Must have completed mandatory training, including safeguarding, first aid, medication management, food hygiene, and fire safety.
  3. Working towards or possessing a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Children's Homes or an equivalent qualification as per Ofsted standards.
  4. Confident in working alone in a challenging environment with females aged 11-17 who have emotional and behavioural needs.
  5. Preferably trained in Team Teach de-escalation and physical intervention techniques.
  6. Working hours are from 22:00 to 08:00.
  7. Casual attire is permitted.
  8. Night duties include tidying, maintaining the home, and preparing for the next day.

Applicants must have experience in children's services and managing challenging behaviour. All compliance and training will adhere to OFSTED regulations, and a safer recruitment check will be conducted by the agency.
