Job summary

Action for Children is recruiting a Residential Support Worker for Tayavalla in Camelon, Falkirk. The role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment for children and young people to flourish, with a strong emphasis on patience, empathy and resilience.

You will join a team that provides induction, skills training and ongoing supervision, with shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits and a Real Living Wage accredited employer status are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in care setting and building positive relationships
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with service users and families
• Willingness to complete qualifications within 3 years of starting

Responsibilities

• Provide lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk
• Coordinate responsibilities within the service with multi-agency involvement and produce family information
• Attend professional meetings including reviews and court work
• Support children to achieve positive outcomes
• Adopt approaches in line with The Promise
• Assist children in all aspects of their care and wellbeing
