Job summary

Creative Support in Oakley (near Bedford) is hiring Support Workers for a full-time role in our residential service for people with learning disabilities. The team supports individuals to enjoy a good quality of life through activities in the service and in the community.

Full training is provided, and benefits include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days annual leave and enhanced DBS. Applicants must be located in the UK and eligible to work; sponsorship is not available.

Full-Time

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our established team in the quiet and scenic village of Oakley. Our residential service supports individuals with learning disabilities and other needs to enjoy an excellent quality of life.

Our service houses a range of active and sociable individuals, who enjoy spending quality time with our staff at the service, and being out in the community. Examples of activities include shopping, listening to music, pampering sessions, cooking & baking, movie nights, arts and crafts, visiting local cafes, and going out for meals. Our service users also love spending time in nature; the service has a large garden with lots of visiting wildlife, and there are plenty of countryside walks nearby.

Our service is located close to the A6, and has free onsite parking; there are also good public transport links via the Number 51 bus from Bedford. However, a full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience Is Desirable, But Not Required For This Role.
