Additional: Sleep-in rate available for night shifts

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to work within children's residential care settings across West Glamorgan. These roles offer flexible ad-hoc shifts, with the possibility of block bookings depending on availability.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential environments. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing space, encourage positive behaviours, and support the development of independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver care and support to young people within residential settings

Assist with daily routines, personal care, and social activities

Implement care plans to support individual needs and personal development

Maintain a safe environment and follow safeguarding procedures

Manage challenging behaviours with empathy and resilience

Keep accurate records of daily activities and support provided

Work collaboratively with staff to promote the well-being of children and young people

Essential Criteria:

Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent

Proven experience in children s residential support work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Positive, patient, and adaptable approach

Flexibility to work ad-hoc shifts, including nights with sleep-in duties

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
