Residential Support Worker - Children's Home

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will nurture and support children and young people aged 7 to 17 years, with EBD and some LD, in a residential setting. Your responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities, supporting positive outcomes, and reaching their potential. No two days are the same in Residential Care. We seek individuals who are passionate about working with vulnerable young people, resilient to challenging behaviors, and nurturing in their approach. Full induction, training, and ongoing support are provided, including the QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguard, motivate, and inspire children and young people in your care.
  • Lead and demonstrate best practices, working closely with psychologists and therapeutic services.
  • Handle challenging behaviors professionally and effectively.
Requirements
  • Full driving license is essential.
