A leading organization in social care is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker in Halifax. The role involves supporting children and young people with complex needs, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes. Candidates should be motivated and committed, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. A Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable, but applications are welcome from those without this qualification.
Residential Support Worker
40 hours per week
Salary: £12.85 - £13.51 per hour (approx. £26,728 - £28,100 annually)
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts - Days & Nights (9am-9pm and 9pm-9am)
Requirements: Must be at least 23 years of age

This role involves working in a specialist care and education setting for children and young people aged 11-19, who have complex needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health issues, and other health needs.
As a Residential Support Worker, you should be motivated, committed, and genuinely interested in providing high-quality care. You will support the care team, contributing to positive outcomes for the children and young people, and help develop the service.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including clinical staff, education, and social workers to achieve the best outcomes.
It is desirable to hold a Diploma 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care; however, applicants without this qualification will also be considered.
