Vetro Recruitment is seeking a part-time Residential Support Worker in Preston (PR3) to join a new home supporting children aged 8 to 18 with autism and complex needs. Flexible 30 hours and 20 hours per week, temp to permanent.

You will assist with daily routines, activities, and skill development, fostering independence and positive relationships in a caring residential setting. DBS checks will be conducted in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with complex needs.
• No formal qualifications required, but caring attitude and commitment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
• Assisting with daily routines, activities and skill development to promote independence.
• Building positive relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment.
• Supporting children's emotional, behavioural and educational needs.
