A Telford children and young people’s service is looking for a compassionate, inspiring Residential Support Worker to help provide outstanding residential care in the local area.

The service offers a safe, secure and nurturing home for young people aged 16+ who require round-the-clock support relating to their mental health and wellbeing.

Residents receive extensive support to build their confidence and independent living skills in a tailored environment, taking a positive approach to development and self-expression.

Depending on your experience and preferences, you could join as:

  • Team Lead – £14.00 per hour
  • Residential Support Worker – £13.00 per hour
  • Waking Night Support Worker - £13.00 per hour

You’ll be able to make a real, tangible difference to the young people in your care with great opportunities for professional recognition and further development.

This is a permanent Residential Support Worker position, ideally full-time. Part-time may be considered.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Valid driving licence and access to vehicle (for travel between local homes)
  • (Desirable) Experience working within a children’s home
  • (Desirable) Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
