Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Level 3 or Level 4 Qualified Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people in our residential home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people with complex needs.
We offer both 35-hour and 48-hour per week contract options. There is also regular opportunity for overtime, with most staff typically working over 45 hours per week, depending on individual availability and preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to children and young people
  • Promote safety, wellbeing, and emotional security within the home
  • Support young people in developing life skills and achieving personal goals
  • Work as part of a team to deliver consistent, person-centred care
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and daily record-keeping
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in line with regulatory standards

Working Patterns

  • Shifts may include a mix of days, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights
  • Sleep-ins are fully paid at your standard hourly rate no flat rate fees
  • Rotas are created at least 4 weeks in advance and are designed around the needs of our young people
  • We are committed to work-life balance and strive to offer flexible rota planning where possible

Additional Information

  • Homes operate 365 days a year, including public holidays
  • You may be required to work across various shift patterns to ensure consistent care
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential due to the needs of the young people in our care
