Qualifications

  • Desire to provide respectful personal care and support services.
  • Legal right to work in the UK (proof required).
  • Successful DBS check (cost covered by us).
  • At least 2 professional references.
  • Completion of a 3-day classroom-based induction (paid training).

About The Role

Residential Support Worker - Beacon Park Village

Nexxus Care is recruiting for a motivated care assistant to join our team at Beacon Park Village, Lichfield.

Shift patterns are 7am till 3pm, 3pm till 10pm, and alternate weekends.

The role of a Nexxus care assistant is varied, and no two days will be the same. Beacon Park Village is an extra care scheme supporting clients who live in their own homes without travelling. You will assist with personal care and ensure residents remain safe, comfortable, and happy in their homes.

Some duties may include:

  • Providing personal care while maintaining independence, respect, and dignity, following individual care plans.
  • Delivering person-centred care and completing care documentation accurately.
  • Administering medication following MAR charts.
  • Carrying out household duties within Beacon Park Village, adhering to health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Responding promptly to alarm calls.
