Compass Community in Henfield is seeking a compassionate Residential Support Worker to positively impact children's lives. The role includes facilitating activities, ensuring wellbeing, and supporting daily tasks.
The starting salary is £27,518 with additional sleep-in payments and benefits such as a company pension, leave allowances, and cash rewards for outstanding practice.

This role is ideal for experienced Residential Workers or Youth Workers, as well as those with no previous experience who are looking to build a career in residential care. Previous experience is not essential for this role. Our Skills to Care induction includes 2 separate weeks of classroom‑based training and a week of shadow shifts to prepare for the new role. You will also be supported to achieve your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. This qualification is achievable within a 12‑month period, at which point you will be a Level 3 qualified Residential Support Worker, supporting your ongoing development and career progression with Compass.
The successful applicants will be appointed subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
