About The Role

Residential Support Worker - Chestnut Grange

Nexxus Care is recruiting for a motivated care assistant to join our team at Chestnut Grange, Burton on Trent.

Shift patterns are 7am till 3pm, 3pm till 10pm, and alternate weekends.

The role of a Nexxus care assistant is varied, and no two days will be the same. Chestnut Grange is an extra care scheme supporting clients who live in their own homes without traveling. You will support with personal care and ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and happy within their homes.

Some duties may include:

  • Provide personal care while maintaining independence, respect, and dignity, following individual care plans.
  • Deliver person-centred care and complete care documentation accurately.
  • Administer medication following MAR charts.
  • Perform household duties within Chestnut Grange, adhering to health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Ensure all alarm bells are answered promptly.

About You

What we need from you:

  • Availability between 7:00am and 10:00pm.
  • Desire to provide personal care and support respecting residents' rights and choices.
  • Right to work in the UK with proof (passport, visa).
  • Successful completion of a DBS check (initial cost covered by us).
  • Provide at least 2 professional references.
  • Complete a 3-day classroom-based induction, paid, held locally.
