Due to an increase in referrals and instructions, a leading Legal 500 Devon-based firm is looking for a Residential Property Lawyer to join their growing team in Exeter. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly and experienced team that will support you while giving you the freedom to manage your own caseload and grow your skillset.
The Residential Property department is a close group of experienced conveyancers and legal support staff who work together to deliver high-quality service across a wide range of residential property matters. Although the team is spread across offices, they stay closely connected through regular meetings and collaboration in the Torquay office. Significant effort has been invested in building a supportive and rewarding environment where everyone feels valued for their hard work and dedication.
The role will depend on your experience and will allow you to develop your own caseload as well as specialise in areas that interest you. You’ll be involved in managing domestic conveyancing cases like leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, both registered and unregistered land, advising clients on mortgages and lender requirements, buy-to-let properties, shared ownership leases, new plot purchases with help-to-buy charges, and handling SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package, including 33 days of annual leave (including your birthday off), pension contributions, a discretionary bonus scheme, private healthcare plans, enhanced family leave, and access to well-being initiatives. They also provide supported training, career progression opportunities, and free legal services for employees.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.
