INSTALLATION PROJECT MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL SOLAR PROJECTS

Our client is a leading electrical construction company, specializing in residential solar installation projects in the RI/greater Boston area.

We are seeking a dynamic and successful project manager to spearhead and oversee the successful installation of these solar projects.

OVERVIEW

Serve our customers and support the team by providing daily project management of residential solar installation projects. Collect, analyze & submit information related to multiple projects, keeping within specific project timelines, protocols, and guidelines.

PRIME DIRECTIVE FOR POSITION:

Manage installation of residential solar projects.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

1. Plan development submissions
2. Structural engineering assessment submissions
3. Building and Electrical permit applications
4. Part I and II Utility Interconnection applications
5. Inspection scheduling and coordination
6. Project photo/documentation compliance review
7. Site survey requests
8. Contracts & Subcontracts
9. Purchase Orders and Agreements
10. Prepare weekly and monthly project status updates
11. Collect and monitor Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance, confirming required coverage and endorsements.
12. Organize and maintain site specific reports
13. Assist field personnel and update project files
14. Coordinate meetings and conference calls
15. Order prints and specifications and distribute.
16. Collect and organize required information to prepare Project Close-Out Package as directed by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree preferable and at least two years of experience in successfully managing residential solar installation projects.

Practical applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
