Step Into a Role That Moves Lives Forward as a Residential Services Coordinator II – Transport!

As a Residential Services Coordinator II – Transport, you’ll combine your safety expertise with specialized training to make a real impact. While ensuring safety throughout the facility, you'll also take on the vital responsibility of securely transporting individuals served to off-site destinations like medical consultations, psychological evaluations, court appearances, and more. Your role is essential in connecting individuals to the care and services they need, all while maintaining accountability and security. Ready to take the lead in a dynamic and rewarding position? Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Individuals Served: Performs duties related to transporting individuals served to off-site destinations such as medical visits, court trips, or external consults while ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engages & Monitors Environment: Actively engages with individuals served to monitor their environment, well-being, and overall climate, addressing concerns as needed.
  • De-escalation & Redirection: Observes individuals served and employs verbal de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive or violent behaviors, prioritizing non-physical interventions.
  • Supports Off-Site Activities: Provides oversight and support during off-site activities, interacting with the public when necessary and ensuring smooth coordination.
  • Tracks & Monitors Environmental Safety: Conducts inspections of equipment, systems, and physical structures to maintain a safe environment for individuals served.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Required: Must be able to successfully complete all required training courses as established by the state certification/licensing authority or the contract.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Required: Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority or contract.
  • Required: A valid state driver’s license with a verifiable favorable driving record.
