Role: Residential Service Cook (Poplars)
Location: Mirfield, WF14 0DQ
Salary: £11.54/hr
Hours: 20hrs per week, including alternate weekends. Shift times 10:00am - 3pm.

Key responsibilities:

1. To prepare and cook nutritious meals for the adults in the service.
2. To follow IDDSI guidelines, ensuring that food is prepared to the right consistency for each individual.
3. To create and maintain a recipe book that social care staff can follow in your absence.
4. To support social care staff and individuals to prepare meals and snacks in line with Food Safety.
5. To maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances to a standard required to meet the food safety regulations within the service.
6. To create a weekly menu by involving the adults, young people or children and ensuring that the menu meets the dietary requirements of all adults in the service.
