Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Educationis currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Residential SEN Worker to undertake a position at one of our client schools inBeighton.

Job Summary:

  • Helping students with their academic work, adapting materials and methods to suit their learning styles and abilities.
  • Implementing behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students during overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to students.
  • Assist with daily routines and activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including waking and sleeping nights
