Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Residential Quantity Surveyor for a high-end residential project in Liphook, Hampshire. The role pays £65,000 per annum plus a package and is full-time onsite.

The successful candidate will manage commercial and contractual aspects of country home projects, delivering costs within budget and coordinating pre-construction through to final account with strong focus on cost control and procurement.

Qualifications

• Approx. 5 years of residential quantity surveying experience.
• Experience managing cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience with tendering and procurement documentation.
• Strong cost control and project delivery focus.

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Quantity Surveyorto join one of our clients growing team and play a key role in the management of residential construction High end country home projects.

This is anexcellent opportunity for a focused Quantity Surveyor with residential experience circa 5 years to work across a range of Country home projects, from pre-construction through to final account.

The Role

As a Residential Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are managed and projects are delivered within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project costs from pre-construction through to completion.


• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets and forecasts.


• Preparing tender and procurement documentation.


• Obtaining, analysing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations.


• Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and payments.


• Monitoring project expenditure and reporting on cost performance.
