This key appointment is offered at Associate or Senior Associate level, depending on experience.

This is more than just a technical role. It’s an opportunity to step into a high-performing team, take ownership of a premium-quality caseload, and play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Residential Property department as the firm grows its footprint beyond the Thames Valley.

About the Firm

This is a forward-thinking firm with a reputation for excellence across both commercial and private client sectors. Their modern, inclusive culture emphasises quality work, client care, and innovation. You’ll be joining a supportive and ambitious environment where collaboration and continuous development are genuinely valued.

The Role

You will manage a broad and high-quality caseload, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • High-value and complex residential property transactions
  • Re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters

You will also:

  • Build and maintain client and referrer relationships
  • Deliver clear, strategic advice with exceptional client service
  • Support growth through business development and networking
  • Supervise junior fee earners and contribute to mentoring and training
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues across departments

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–8 years’ PQE in Residential Property
  • Strong track record handling complex and high-value conveyancing matters
  • Excellent technical and commercial judgement
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues (or readiness to step into that)
  • Comfortable using legal tech and modern case management systems
  • A proactive approach to business development and relationship building

Benefits & Culture

Contractual Benefits:

  • Competitive holiday allowance
  • Pension with matched contributions
  • Life assurance (5 x salary)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Medicash plan and retail discounts

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Birthday leave
  • Weekly wellbeing hour
  • Paid volunteer hours
  • Cycle to work scheme & season ticket loan
  • "Bring your dog to work" days
  • Vibrant social committee and firm-wide events
  • Option to buy additional holiday days
