The Role

You’ll manage a full residential property caseload from instruction to post-completion, dealing with the kind of transactions that make up the fabric of the local market:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases for families and investors across East Sussex
• Remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions with genuine client relationships
• First registrations and related Land Registry work with precision and care
• Advise clients at every stage, making the complex simple and keeping them informed

You’ll work directly with clients, estate agents, and brokers, building relationships that generate repeat business. You’ll also be a senior voice in the Uckfield office, providing guidance to more junior colleagues and support staff where needed.

This is residential conveyancing where you’re trusted to do the job properly, not just process it quickly.

About You

You are a residential property lawyer with at least five years’ experience. You can run a full caseload without supervision, and you take pride in getting the details right. You communicate clearly and professionally, and you understand that a house move is one of the most significant transactions in a client's life.
