Job description

Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Fee-earner

Location: Central London

A commercial, forward-thinking law firm is looking for a residential property paralegal (with fee earning experience) to join their team and deliver high-quality service to their established client base.

You will manage your own caseload from instruction to post-completion, dealing with both sales and purchases of properties. You must be able to handle the full residential transaction process with minimal supervision.

Key duties include:

• Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
• Drafting reports on title
• Liaising with clients and third parties (mortgage lenders, etc.)
• Dealing with enquiries
• File opening and closing, including matter balances
• Companies House registrations
• Scheduling deeds to mortgage lenders
• Drafting agreements, deeds, and contracts
• Reviewing and reporting on titles

Candidates must have at least 12 months’ experience as a residential property paralegal, with excellent drafting skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and client relationship skills are essential, along with the ability to conduct searches independently.
