Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Fee-earner

Location: Central London

A commercial, forward-thinking law firm is looking for a residential property paralegal (with fee earning experience) to join their team and deliver high-quality service to the firm’s established client base.

You will be managing your own caseload from instruction to post-completion, dealing with both sales and purchases of properties. As you will be handling your own caseload (with some supervision), you must be able to start immediately with the ability to manage full residential transactions.

Key duties will include:

• Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
• Drafting reports on title
• Liaising with clients and third parties (mortgage lenders etc.)
• Dealing with enquiries
• File opening and closing, including matter balances
• Companies House Registrations
• Scheduling deeds to mortgage lenders
• Drafting agreements, deeds, and contracts
• Reviewing and reporting on titles

Applicants must have at least 12 months’ experience as a residential property paralegal and meet the above criteria. Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. You should be able to build rapport with clients and act on your own initiative, conducting searches with minimal supervision.
