Summary of Role

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Residential Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our residential properties. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

Property Maintenance & Operations

  • Take pride in ensuring properties are always well-presented, safe, and fully compliant.
  • Coordinate with trusted contractors to deliver efficient repairs and maintenance.
  • Carry out regular inspections to maintain high standards across the portfolio.

Tenant Relations

  • Be the go-to contact for tenants, providing support and resolving queries with professionalism and care.
  • Manage the full tenant lifecycle: from referencing and check-ins to renewals, rent reviews, and checkouts.
  • Handle deposits and mediate disputes when required, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

Financial Management

  • Oversee rent collection and associated fees, helping to maximise the financial performance of the portfolio.

Legal & Compliance

  • Keep ahead of the latest legislation, including the Renters Reform Bill, ensuring full compliance across all properties.
  • Manage legal processes when required, including evictions, with a professional and balanced approach.

Administration & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for tenancies, finances, and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants about policy changes, notices, and rent reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless service.
Requirements

Experience: At least 2–3 years in residential property management or a related field.

Qualifications: ARLA or TPI qualified (or willing to work towards).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of property management systems and UK housing legislation.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Financial management skills and confidence handling tenancy processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong attention to detail and organisation
