Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Operative/Handyman to join our in-house team in London. The role covers day-to-day maintenance across residential properties, with duties ranging from routine repairs to small installations.

You will work independently, manage your workload, and support tenants with a professional service. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of residential property maintenance experience, a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property maintenance or a similar handyman/ multi-trade role
• Own basic hand tools required
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with tenants

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine repairs and general maintenance across London properties
• Attending and resolving maintenance issues reported by tenants
• Troubleshooting problems and identifying appropriate solutions
• Minor electrical maintenance, painting and decorating
• Basic carpentry and making good
• Replacing locks, handles, light fittings and other fixtures
• Installing shelves and curtain poles and other small fittings
• Checking domestic appliances and furniture assembly/repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and helping prepare properties between tenancies
• Liaising with external tradespeople when required
