A reputable law firm in Plymouth is seeking a Locum Residential Conveyancer to join their busy property department on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced residential conveyancer who is available to start immediately and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold matters.
  2. Providing expert advice to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing.
  3. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
  4. Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  5. Drafting and reviewing contracts, reports, and legal documents.
  6. Managing case files efficiently, ensuring that deadlines are met, and keeping clients updated on progress.
  7. Assisting with matters relating to property transactions, including SDLT, searches, and Land Registry applications.
