Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to manage a full caseload in a hybrid role based in Bournemouth or Poole. You will handle sales, purchases, remortgages and related land transactions with autonomy.

3+ years' PQE and a strong grasp of Land Law are essential, along with the ability to mentor junior colleagues and liaise with a range of stakeholders to move complex transactions to completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' fee-earning experience in Residential Property.
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Strong knowledge of residential property and Land Law.
• Experience managing own caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
• Confident working independently and meeting deadlines.
• Strong client and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Ideally, some experience supporting or mentoring more junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own matters from instruction to post-completion with full ownership.
• Handle a broad range of residential property work (freehold/leasehold sales/purchases, remortgages, land transactions).
• Involve in specialist work (new build developments, shared ownership, lease extensions, equity release).
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, managing agents and solicitors to keep transactions moving.
• Guide more junior lawyers and support staff where appropriate.
