Job description

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a dynamic local authority, based in Bristol, which is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join their team as part of the council’s efforts to tackle homelessness in the community.

Role: Residential Property Lawyer

Location: Bristol

Umbrella Rate: £300 per day

PAYE Inc. Rate: £265.21 per day

Contract Length: 12 months

Key Responsibilities of the Residential Property Lawyer role:
  1. Handle a Residential Property law caseload independently.
  2. Oversee and manage the residential acquisition programme on behalf of the Council.
  3. Manage acquisitions involving freehold and leasehold properties, including full conveyancing processes from initial contract to Land Registry registration.
Required Skills:
  1. Qualification to practice as a Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with strong legal knowledge and experience in conveyancing, property law, and residential acquisitions.
  2. Proven experience in handling the full conveyancing process, from initial contract to registration at the Land Registry.
  3. Familiarity with local government procedures and systems is advantageous.
