Job Description:

My client is well respected locally law firm with offices based in Surrey and Berkshire. Due to outstanding growth, they are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive Residential Property Fee Earner to join their successful team.

You will provide legal and practical advice and assistance to clients on a wide range of residential property matters.

This role will be based from their Berkshire office.

Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of residential property law and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and delivering high-quality advice and support throughout the property transaction process.

Duties

  • Manage the full lifecycle of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and remortgages.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of residential property law.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transfer deeds.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and property searches to identify any potential issues.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and industry best practices.

Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in residential property law is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in using case management systems is advantageous but not essential.
