Job description

A Residential Property Lawyer is required by one of this region’s leading law firms.

They are flexible and responsive to the needs of their clients, delivering the best outcomes for them and now boast more than 800 lawyers and support staff, including more than 150 partners, and have been awarded the Law Society’s Lexcel quality mark in recognition of their compliance and client care standards.

This particular role is joining their thriving residential team.

You will need to haveat least 2 years post qualification experience of managing your own caseload and be looking to join a strong team in a progressive firm.

The work will include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of matters, providing clients with high quality, proactive legal advice.
  • Advising on the buying and selling of houses including drafting contracts, lock out agreements and property transfers.
  • Advising on shared ownership sales and purchases, lease extensions, and dealing with re-mortgages and equity release. Advising clients on the wider implications of any transactions.
  • Supporting the senior team members in their caseloads, including running their cases in periods of absence. Building relationships with other departments, such as the Financial Advice team, to enhance the client experience through referrals.
