Listed Building Surveyor and part time musician.

Desbruslais Chartered Surveyors is looking for an experienced and motivated residential surveyor specialising in the field of prepurchase surveys, predominantly on listed and period properties.

This is a home-based position. All equipment will be provided together with full administrative support.

The base salary offered is £65,000, plus performance-related bonuses.

Responsibilities

  1. The inspection and delivery of level III prepurchase residential surveys, predominately on period properties although all types of buildings will be inspected.
  2. The successful applicant, who should have a minimum of four years post-qualification and ideally, a bank of local contacts, will be responsible for regional growth throughout the south-west of England and up to the Cotswolds, with the aim of heading up a small local team, liaising with other experienced members of the practice.
  3. In the longer term, depending on performance, there will be opportunities for wider responsibilities and directorship.

Qualifications

Degree level building surveyor, preferably RICS Chartered.
