Job description

Position: Residential Practitioner

Location: Leeds

Salary: £26,421 - £28,770 (pro rata for part-time)

Potential Earnings: £29,817 - £32,419 (including enhancements)

About You

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Residential Practitioner who brings:

  1. Solid literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills.
  2. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to complete the qualification (we'll cover the course fees).
  3. Recent experience working with children or young people who present emotional or behavioural challenges - this could be through work, volunteering, placements, or personal experience.
  4. Strong communication, active listening, teamwork, and emotional resilience.
  5. Flexibility to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and overnight shifts.

  3. Responding to each child's unique needs and encouraging their personal, educational, and social development.
Salary & Benefits
  1. Base Salary: £26,421, progressing to £28,770 (pro rata for part-time).
  2. Additional Pay: Enhancements for unsocial hours, including sleep-ins.
  3. Total Potential Earnings: £29,817 - £32,419 (based on full-time hours, including enhancements).
